Azadirachtin 1% EC is an emulsifiable concentrate with 10000 ppm Azadirachtin
and rich limonoid content. Azadirachtin T/S 1% EC is made of wholly
natural ingredients and is an approved organic input by IMO, Switzerland affliated to IFOAM.
The
formulation possesses important features such as UV stability, shelf
stability and greater bioefficacy against sucking and defoliating pest
complex.

Application
Recommendations
1.
Apply as soon as pests are observed for better results.
2. Apply during immature pest stages for greater control.
Repeat spray 7-10 days upon continued
pest pressure.
3. Under high pest incidence, use product at short intervals
4. Spray followed by a chemical application in case of serious
pest outbreak in non organic crops.
5. The formulation can be alternated with chemicals / biologicals
if required.
6. Use the product in overall pest control program to make
pests weak and make it more susceptible
to insecticides.
7. Use the product to prevent insecticide resistance.
8. Thoroughly cover foliage or apply upto run off conditions.
9. Sprays during morning or evening hours maximise bioefficacy.
10. Use "rain fastener" in case of high rainfall areas.
11. Avoid storage of spray mixtures. Mix afresh for every application.
12. Compatibility with pesticides / fungicides should be checked before applications.
13. Use "pH" correctors depending on the spray water quality.
14. Use required "surfactants" where necessory.
15. Good mixing is required before application.
16.
Use oil adjuvants to maximise biological activity on select pests.
Product
Use Benefits
1.
Support organic crop cultivation.
2. Help provide IPM solutions to non organic crops.
3. Help prevent or delay resistance in pests.
4. Enhance pesticidal activity.
5. Help reduce pesticide use in crops.
6. Help manage pesticide residues in food crops.
Pesticide
Synergism
n Azadirachtin
1% EC exposed insects showed higher mortality when
subsequently treated with insecticides.
n
Azadirachtin
1% EC predisposes insects to pesticide action thus
resulting into higher mortality.
n
Increase
in mortality due to Azadirachtin 1% EC exposure has been
observed across several insecticides.
n
Enhancement
of pesticidal action of Azadirachtin 1% EC would help
provide integrated resistance management of pests.
Beneficial
Safety
n
Azadirachtin
1% EC has shown high beneficial safety.
n Azadirachtin
1% EC help augment beneficials by predisposing pests
to beneficial insects.
